This is a hidden and simple restaurant in Salerno, the food was delicious and the owener very friendly. If you wanna taste someting homemade this is the perfect place.

This place is great. I showed up with a party of 11 and the owner of the restaurant said he could accommodate us even thought both of his workers had called out for the night. Angelo made us an incredible meal and left us with many memories of a fantastic restaurant in Salerno, Italy.

Fantastico! The pasta (raviolo) with zucchini and sausage was sublime- food I will remember forever! We've visited many times and always great food and atmosphere. Angelo is very friendly and kind and very efficiently sorts everything. His wife makes the most incredible torta di aranchia - it's a must!

Wow! This place was a lovely surprise! The chef speaks english and he was very welcoming! We had the menu which included multiple appetizers and a fresh pasta dish. The price was very decent. I highly recommend this place if you want authentic/homemade like Italian food.

Delicious home made food. Simple and authentic local cuisine at a reasonable price. If you are looking for something more than just food, but a real experience of Italian atmosphere, this is the perfect place. The owner is very open and friendly, he talks about his cuisine in beautiful words and will certainly advise what to choose. We will definitely come back for more food and memories.

Simply amazing, I’m belgian and lved in northern Italy in the 70-80’s. In la sartania, I’ve found back what I experienced then. I was surrounded by locals (always a very good sign). I was alone so I could listen and hear about suggestions made to my neighbours, I followed them. No point to tell you here what they were, there were probably day’s proposals. Conclusion, delicious and praised by locals. Bottle of wine, antipasti and pasta 1 pax (30€)

Came with a couple of friends who had been here before. Tucked away in a quiet neighbourhood away from the sea front. Such a little gem that I never would have come to. Had antipasti and pasta and lots of wine. I was too full for the meat course. We were eating with local families which was such a nice experience. Top quality food. Ignore any bad reviews. They are fake. This place is superb home cooked food.
